The Rising Hawk, First, the landscape shots are truly beautiful because they aren’t all CGI. Unfortunately from there it goes downhill.
Sorry for being harsh, but … The script is basic, mostly fluent and poorly written. The American to British accent is a bit confusing!
The actors for the part are pretty average (even those who already know who probably should know better), but this probably has more to do with poor script and directing (maybe).
The main character of the mother seems to have had a wonderful face lift with plastic surgery. A little put off seeing a 13th century setting and a woman I’m sorry to say in some scenes looks like The Joker without makeup. Why ppl keep doing this to themselves and not seeing how ugly / unnatural it looks is beyond me. The Rising Hawk But hey, this isn’t my face. Wrong choice for this type of film.
In conclusion, this suits you best if you A: Nothing else to watch on a Saturday night (like me) or B: Nothing else to watch on a Saturday night I love this film, I’m actually quite impressed how good it is. I don’t understand the low ratings, but I think fashionable Hollywood films, with impressive special effects, are the ones that are selling right now.
This film actually has something to say. The story is very good, and it’s refreshing to see actors who are not part of the famous big screen. This film depicts a time, when honor meant something to people and they stood up for something, and love was pure. The Rising Hawk If you’re looking for a superficial Hollywood special effects film, then this movie isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a film that truly has soul, you might want to give it this chance. I haven’t seen a good movie like this in a while, especially considering the Hollywood trash these days. This must be 10 of me.
